They are doing this using fake social media accounts including LinkedIn, Facebook and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp.

A large number of recruitment companies and other reputable organisations across the world are being used, you will find similar warnings on their websites to combat this problem.

Morgan McKinley will not reach out to a new connection via a messaging platform i.e. WhatsApp. We use established channels to reach out to our candidates initially such as email from our official domain name @morganmckinley.com, LinkedIn, or phone.
